Data Encryption & Security

All client and candidate data is stored on servers with AES-256 encryption.

All site communications use the HTTPS protocol with a valid SSL certificate.

Payments are not processed or stored by Zafira. They are handled entirely by Stripe, which complies with PCI DSS Level 1.

Identity documents and media are stored in a private cloud bucket with access restricted to authorized personnel only.

Data is never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties under any circumstances.

No Refund Policy

The $400 USD retainer payment covers the initiation of the forensic background investigation and the assigned advisor's consultation time. These services are rendered immediately and independently of the outcome. Therefore, no refund will be issued once background check services have begun, including: (a) inconsistencies detected in the client's background, (b) unilateral decision to discontinue the process, or (c) dissatisfaction with the candidates presented. To restart the process, a new $400 USD retainer is required.

Terms of Conduct

  • • The client commits to treating all candidates with absolute respect throughout the entire process.
  • • Any disrespectful behavior, harassment, or inappropriate communication is cause for immediate expulsion without refund.
  • • The client may not share candidate profiles, photographs, or videos with third parties.
  • • Candidate information is intended solely for matrimonial purposes and may not be used for any other purpose.
  • • Zafira reserves the right to cancel any ongoing process if conduct contrary to the agency's values is detected.

Legal Compliance

  • • Compliance with Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data — Colombia).
  • • Compliance with CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) for users in California.
  • • Compliance with GDPR for users residing in European Union countries, if applicable.
  • • All contracts and terms are drafted in both English and Spanish.

  • • Zafira does not guarantee the outcome of the matrimonial process. The service consists of verification, curation, and accompaniment — not the achievement of marriage.
  • • Background investigation services are provided in Colombia under current Colombian legislation.
  • • Zafira is not an online dating platform. It is a matrimonial consultancy agency with verification processes.
  • • The $400 USD retainer payment is a charge for services rendered, not a refundable deposit.
